Nordisk Vindkraft sells wind farm to Conceptor

NV Nordisk Vindkraft AB, a developer of wind farms in the Nordic countries, has signed an agreement with Conceptor Renewable Energy and Technology AS, for the sale of the Tysvaer Vindpark AS wind farm in Rogaland Fylke, Norway.

The contract calls for the sale of the development asset of the thirteen-turbine wind farm to Conceptor. Conceptor, a company owned by the Norwegian Conceptor AS and Swiss Alpiq AG, will own the project and will be in charge of its financing and construction.

Both parties expressed delight over the sale of the Tysvaer Vindpark wind farm. “Our development team has created an excellent project, our first in Norway, and I am convinced that Tysvaer Vindpark has a strong new owner in Conceptor,” said Anders Barne, Chief Executive Officer of Nordis Vindkraft.

Tor-Arne Pedersen, Chief Executive Officer of Conceptor Renewable Energy and Technology, added, “We are satisfied with this deal and look forward to completing the project, with support from Norwegian authorities.”

NV Nordisk Vindkratf AB, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the RES Group, is a developer of wind farms in Norway and Sweden. The company builds and finances large wind farms with an installed capacity of 10 megawatts or more. Its headquarters is located in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Conceptor Renewable Energy and Technology AS is a renewable energy company owned by the Norwegian Conceptor AS and Swiss Alpiq AG. Conceptor has many projects under development in Sweden and aims to develop and build 400 turbines that will produce 2,500 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) annually. The company has developed a total of 25 small-scale hydro projects in Norway, with one in operation and two under construction, and aims to produce 475 million kWh annually.
