Encore Energy Systems announced its proprietary “BioGreen” generators. The “BioGreen” series are multi-fuel stationary power generation systems that complement the company’s existing biofuel initiatives and provide a package solution for green fuels and power generation customers.

The systems require no modifications to utilize a variety of fuels such as diesel, bio-diesel, vegetable oils, and even waste motor oils and transmission fluids. The BioGreen system can run continuously on reclaimed, waste, and green fuels.

BioGreen systems operate slowly and quietly between 600 and 1,000 rpm. The lowest typical revolution per minute (rpm) available on the market today is 1,800 rpm. Higher revolutions per minute create more noise pollution with most other systems operating at over 2,400 rpm. In addition, impressive fuel-efficiency, low revolutions per minute insure extremely long duty and life cycles. A BioGreen system can operate longer than the life span of its owner.

BioGreen systems are available in power levels ranging in output from six horsepower (hp) to 24 hp in either 120 or 240 volts output. BioGreen systems operate at an incredible 80%+ mechanical efficiency. The entry-level four-kilowatt (kW) system uses approximately two gallons of fuel in 10 hours when running near to full load. The systems can be configured up to 24kW. Multiple systems can be combined to produce power above 24kW.
