A manufacturer of concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) solar energy collectors, Sunseeker Energy Holding AG, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Nations Roof LLC, a leading supplier of roof solutions in the United States.

Sunseeker Energy has developed an advanced CPV unit that reduces the active solar panel and costs per megawatt. Under the terms of the agreement, Nations Roof will receive the exclusive rights to distribute and install the solar units in the US in conjunction with its roofing solutions.

According to Antony Howard, Director of Sunseeker Energy Limited and one of its founders, the two companies are also planning to develop manufacturing in the US in order to provide CPV units for the “American light applications market,” and to perform larger installations.

Sunseeker Energy has established itself to be a leader in manufacturing CPV solar energy systems for deployment on a mass scale. Its Concentrator Solar Transducer Systems are more powerful and more energy- and cost-efficient than the conventional flat-panel solar energy systems. Concentrator systems have efficiencies of up to 39%, when compared to the conventional flat-panel systems’ efficiencies of 15%.
