Developing Asia’s cities face rising flooding risks – World Bank

Economic development and the occurrence of floods are making layers of difficulty for cities in the fast growing Asian region, the World Bank said. A policy guidebook released by the bank on Monday noted that floods are the most frequent among all natural disasters. But in East Asia, the Pacific and South Asia, the problems caused by floods are magnified.
