PetroSun’s algae-to-biofuel program commences
PetroSun BioFuels and the Town of Gilbert, Arizona have executed an agreement to commence an algae-to-biofuels wastewater pilot program. The purpose of the program is to evaluate the feasibility of using wastewater as a source of nutrients and water for the cultivation of algae to be processed into feedstock for biodiesel.
The Town of Gilbert will be offered the biodiesel produced from the program at the actual cost of production and processing.
